Hello all, we are implementing a “news” blog to help keep our customers informed with important happenings at Wine Library and in the wine world in general. You will find here important information regarding things like: shipping delays associated to weather, special events and tastings, new changes and upgrades to the website and/or ordering process, and anything else we may want to add that may be of interest or concern. Hi guys,
I don’t find any links or references on this site to your great cheese shop.
I stopped having my wine orders delivered after I made the mistake of
trying to save a $65 delivery charge. I stopped in to pick up the order
(thus saving $65)- and left spending an additional $150 on cheese.
The last time in, in addition to the extra cheese I bought a bottle of Pierre Ferrano Congac, a Middletons Irish Whiskey and a Johnny Walker Blue.
The point I’m trying to make is that your cheese shop can produce a lot of impulse buying that your web site deters. Your “cheese staff” appears quite competent, so how about a spot on the web highlighting specials, just-ins and reviews. You have nothing to lose but some delivery income, which is probably a loss anyway.
